Know Abuse: Teen Dating Violence Prevention Provides teens, professionals and parents the necessary tools for education, identification, intervention and prevention of abusive teen relationships. Call Amy Pincus at 216.378.3477 for more information. Individual Counseling and Support Groups To assure confidentiality and safety, groups meet at confidential locations. Women with young children are encouraged to bring them to JFSA’s art activity groups for children while they attend support groups.
Case Management JFSA can help you navigate the maze of social service, legal, medical, vocational and welfare systems. Case management includes safety assessments, planning, assistance in obtaining and coordinating referral services and accompanying clients on appointments.
Justice System Advocacy and Legal Resources For many victims of abuse, working through the court system is a necessary step to becoming abuse free. JFSA helps victims understand their legal options, current laws and court processes, and can accompany them to court or appointments with attorneys.
Training for Professionals Educating professionals who deal with victims of domestic violence is a key component of JFSA’s Family Violence Services. Training is available for educators, first responders (police, fire), social workers, and salon professionals.
Outreach Services Some segments of the community face additional barriers to overcoming abuse. JFSA has developed specialized outreach services for these important populations. • Immigrants • Elderly • Teens • Religiously Observant • People with serious mental illness

Financial Aid for Summer Camps Eligible children and teens, ages 10 - 15, who have not previously attended a Jewish overnight camp for 3 weeks or more and who are not Jewish Day School students or members of a Synagogue or Temple. Qualifying families must have low incomes in relation to their family size. Multiple siblings may be eligible.
