Individual Counseling and Support Groups

To assure confidentiality and safety, groups meet at confidential locations. Women with young children are encouraged to bring them to JFSA’s art activity groups for children while they attend support groups.

Case Management

JFSA can help you navigate the maze of social service, legal, medical, vocational and welfare systems. Case management includes safety assessments, planning, assistance in obtaining and coordinating referral services and accompanying clients on appointments.

Justice System Advocacy and Legal Resources

For many victims of abuse, working through the court system is a necessary step to becoming abuse free. JFSA helps victims understand their legal options, current laws and court processes, and can accompany them to court or appointments with attorneys.

Training for Professionals

Educating professionals who deal with victims of domestic violence is a key component of JFSA’s Family Violence Services. Training is available for educators, first responders (police, fire), social workers, and salon professionals.
