“How wonderful it is that no

one need wait a single moment

to start to improve the world.”

Volunteers

Volunteers are a vital part of Jewish Family Service Association of Cleveland.  Men and women of all ages and backgrounds generously give their time, energy, and experience to help isolated seniors and immigrants, people with disabilities, and others in need. All our volunteers exemplify the true meaning of care and compassion.

Speaker’s Bureau  We welcome individuals that have something interesting to share. Travel? Literature? History? How to? Health and Nutrition? Many of our elderly residents would enjoy a “class” to keep them sharp and learning new things.

Group Activities  Invite our disabled or elderly clients for a group activity at your community location. Dances, sing-alongs and bingo games are just a few of the activities that are enjoyed by all.

Holiday Activities  Make the holidays meaningful by sharing the celebration. Lead a Seder, blow the shofar, sing holiday songs or do an activity.

Entertainment  Do you enjoy singing, playing an instrument or other performance? Whether you are solo or have a group we have many opportunities to entertain our clientele.

Current volunteer opportunities  Click on any category to apply on-line to be a JFSA volunteer. If there is a specific volunteer activity you are looking to perform, contact Sandy Lusher-Waterhouse at 216.378.3475 for more information..
